Yulong Guo Concert Spruce

Dynamic sound and exquisite woodwork make this a professional-level guitar that's ideal for concert performance. The double-top composition of spruce or cedar features lattice bracing plus an additional sound port on the guitar's upper bout side. Made of solid Ziricoté or Koa, the arched "violin back" and the sides not only look beautiful but also allow for exceptional volume and sound projection.

The key feature of this model is the redesigned bridge, which enables the string vibrations to transfer to the soundboard more efficiently. In addition, the double-top has undergone a makeover to raise the fretboard while retaining the flat-level soundboard. The distance between the strings and the top is thereby increased by a few millimetres, which in turn increases sound projection. Reconfigured lattice bracing offers balance and clarity from the bass and treble strings.

The result of these design alterations is a big sound coupled with outstanding projection. The harder you play, the bigger the sound becomes, creating a clear, defined and wholly dynamic range throughout the musical piece.

Mr. Guo's woodworking talents are evident in this wonderful guitar through the impeccable fit and finish. Glossy or matte French polished finishes are available.
